Important components of the role include identification of potential markets and development of sales strategies to grow market share by cultivating long-term relationships with key business and referral sources. 

In addition, the Business Development Manager will be trained in MTF Finance's sales systems and processes and will work collaboratively with the sales team in closing sales and writing loans.

Tenacious, resilient and highly motivated, the successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of long lead time selling. 

Exceptional relationship building and communication skills along with a customer focused approach are essential. 

Candidates with existing knowledge of consumer lending legislation are of interest, along with those possessing established Auckland networks.
