The Area Sales Manager is a critical role within MTF Finance to ensure our network of loan-originating franchisees and dealerships are connected with exemplary service and support from our National Office team. Your primary role is to business partner the originators (franchisees and dealers) across your territory.

Critical accountabilities include business partnering with MTF Finance franchisees and dealers to assist them with driving sales and market share growth, business performance analysis and improvement coaching, and providing solutions-focused customer service to develop and maintain long-term business relationships.

Just some of the things you’re responsible for:

  • Manage and grow the franchise and dealer business in line with MTF Finance’s business goals.
  • Encourage high-sales and solutions-focused customer service within the MTF Finance originator network, whilst meeting our obligations as a responsible lender.
  • Ensure originator activities reflect best practice of MTF Finance’s standards and systems.
  • Training and development of new MTF Finance originators.
  • Proactively drive continuous improvement, growth, and advancement of the originator network.

About the successful candidate, to be the person we’re after, you must have:

  • Experience and success in a sales / business development / client relationship focused position.
  • The ability to coach and drive commercial performance in franchising and/or business to business environments.
  • A genuine interest in the finance and automotive industries.
  • General business knowledge, with specific understanding of the motor vehicle industry.
  • Finance industry experience is desirable, as is a thorough understanding of consumer lending legislation, including CCCFA and Anti-Money Laundering & Countering Financing of Terrorism rules and regulations.
  • Ability to be self-motivated and autonomous while working remotely.
  • Based in Hamilton or Tauranga region.
