About the role:
This role provides support to the Compliance Assurance Lead and Head of Risk & Compliance, and assists with executing compliance assurance testing, coordinates compliance testing schedules, analyses output of testing cross-regulation (proactive holistic focus) looking for patterns, trends & emerging issues; and completes Compliance Committee reporting. The role is also responsible for managing the compliance calendar, assisting with regulatory returns, regulatory horizon scanning, maintaining compliance registers and providing qualitative feedback into Facility Reviews as required.

Just some of the things you’re responsible for:
- Perform testing on key controls and processes that indicate our level of assurance against applicable regulations
- Coordinate testing schedule and ensure tasks are completed on time
- Analyse results and identify patterns, trends, repeat failings or increasing risk exposure
- Collate compliance data for regular Committee reporting
- Manage actions from Committees and liaise with business owners to support & ensure completed
- Perform regulatory horizon scanning & share in regular reporting to ensure business is aware of upcoming changes
- Maintaining compliance calendar & deadlines
- Maintaining compliance register & breaches/gaps
You’ll need to have:
- 5+ years experience in financial services or similar industry
- Tertiary level education (Diploma or Degree)
- An understanding of and ability to apply regulatory parameters into a business (ideally this includes CCCFA, Privacy and Anti-Money Laundering & Countering Financing of Terrorism rules and regulations)
- Any experience in audit or testing work a bonus
