About the role:
In this role, you will provide a single point of contact for end users for all technology support requests and services and is a part of the Technology Operations team that is responsible for all corporate hardware (laptops, monitors, mobiles, printers, etc.), operating systems, and applications.
As the face of our Technology team, your exceptional customer service skills, your technical knowledge, and a genuine desire to learn, will ensure that we provide the best end-user experience to our staff and customers.
This role needs to be located in Dunedin
Just some of the things you’re responsible for:
- Key personnel for our building access and security systems, ensuring key tags and security access is created and removed within established timeframes.
- Ensure our device assets are purchased, replaced and managed in a responsible and transparent manner, in accordance with policy and delegated authority.
- Review and update knowledge base information regularly to enhance the experience of users.
- Oversee and support our audio-visual systems and facilities in a manner that promotes seamless assess and a high degree of independence from users. This includes training users and developing simple instructions for non-technical people to follow.
An ongoing commitment to learning and grasping new technologies, and motivated to develop skills and certifications required to develop a career as a Technology support professional.
You’ll need to have:
- Experience working in a customer service environment.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Windows OS with an enthusiasm for, and ability to adapt to new technology.
- Prior Level 1 Technology support with an awareness of the ITIL framework.
- Experience with Sovereign preferred.
- Physically fit as this role involves lifting and moving hardware.
