Terms and conditions 

  1. The 2025 Summer Promotion (“Promotion”) is conducted by Motor Trade Finance Limited (“MTF Finance”), Level, 1, 98 Great King Street, Dunedin.
  2. The following terms and conditions apply to the Promotion.
  3. By participating in this Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  4. Any entry not complying with these terms and conditions is invalid.
  5. The Promotion commences on 1 December 2025 and ends on 28 February 2026 at 11:59 pm (“Promotion Period”).

Eligibility

  1. Entry is open to New Zealand residents and work visa holders aged 18 years or older who are:
  2. new or existing MTF Finance customers, and
  3. not employees, directors, shareholders, sales agents or introducers of:
  4. MTF Finance;
  5. any MTF Finance related companies;
  6. MTF Finance dealers and franchisees; or
  7. agencies involved in this Promotion and are not immediate family members of any such persons.
  8. All MTF Finance loans are subject to lending criteria, responsible lending checks and our standard terms and conditions.

Entry

  1. To enter the Promotion Eligible customers must apply, be approved for, and agree to the terms of a new MTF Finance loan during the Promotion Period.
  2. Changes or variations to existing MTF Finance loans do not qualify for entry.
  3. Each Eligible Customer may submit only one (1) entry during the Promotion Period.

Prize

  1. MTF Finance are offering each Eligible Customer the chance to win one (1) $5,000 Cash Prize (“Prize”).
  2. Each Eligible Customer who enters the Promotion will go into a draw to win the Prize.
  3. The winner will be randomly selected from all valid entries within two weeks after the Promotion ends, or on a later date determined by MTF Finance.
  4. MTF Finance will deposit the Prize into the winner’s nominated New Zealand bank account by 14 March 2026, or on a later date if required by MTF Finance.
  5. If MTF Finance cannot contact the winner by 21 March 2026 after making reasonable efforts, or if the winner declines the Prize, MTF Finance may, at its sole discretion:
  6. treat the Prize as forfeited; and
  7. select another winner in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  8. MTF Finance is not required to award a Prize to any person who, in its sole discretion, is not or is no longer Eligible.
  9. The Prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for any other benefit.

General 

  1. MTF Finance reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to discontinue, extend, or amend the Promotion, including to re-schedule the Prize Draw at any time provided it considers such action reasonable.
  2. MTF Finance's decisions on all matters relating to the Promotion are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  3. Except as required by law (including obligations under the Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Act 2003, Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, and Fair Trading Act 1986), MTF Finance and its related companies accept no liability for any loss, damage, or injury (including, without limitation, direct, indirect, or consequential loss, or loss arising from negligence) that may result from or in connection with the Promotion. MTF Finance is not responsible for any lost or stolen Prize.
  4. MTF Finance is not liable for any misdirected, lost, damaged, corrupted, incorrectly submitted, or late entries, or for any human error, technical malfunctions, lost or delayed data transmission, computer or network failure, or any other interruption or issue that may affect the Promotion.

Privacy 

  1. By entering the Promotion, each entrant consents, accepts and agrees to MTF Finance collecting, using, and disclosing their personal information including name and photograph for:
  2. administering and conducting the Promotion; and
  3. marketing, promotional and publicity purposes by MTF Finance.
  4. MTF Finance may share personal information with its agents and contractors for these purposes.
