“The scholarship win enabled me to be able to contact record labels and producers and further talk about my music and music career”, Twemlow says.
Twemlow is an independent recording artist, writing and producing all her own songs. Alongside writing new material and exploring collaborations with other recording artists, her study at Hagley College School of Music is almost finished and she recently completed a tour of Selwyn libraries in May for New Zealand Music month.
“I entered Rockquest and am auditioning for Christmas in the Park this coming Saturday. I'm also writing heaps more songs and hopefully putting some on Spotify soon”
The lifting of Covid restrictions means she’s out and about busking again, performing at gigs and auditions, and is performing on stage soon at the Ara Jazz school.
