Claudia is in the running for the Black Fins team World Lifesaving Championships following a season of successful trials this year, and all going to plan, we will see her competing in Italy in September.
Covid has had a very real impact on the plans of Surf Lifesaving in New Zealand, with the last two national championships cancelled just days before they were due to start. Despite the disruption Claudia is still positive, enjoying her second-year study at the University of Otago and spending a lot of her time settling into new training programs.
