Ravinesh Kumar – Term 1 - 1 September 2022 – 31 December 2022
With over 20 years of experience in accounting, finance, credit and administration, Ravinesh decided to venture into used car sales in 2014 – starting JSR Life Motors Ltd from his own backyard. In 2015, he acquired an MTF Finance facility.
Ravinesh holds a Bachelor of Arts double major in Accounting and Management, with a certificate in Project Management, a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma, and is an Associate Charted Accountant with Charted Accountants Australia New Zealand.
Lauren Silkstone – Term 2 - 1 March 2023 – 30 June 2023
Lauren joined MTF Finance in November 2019 as Managing Director of MTF Finance Fraser Street. Lauren’s career thus far has predominantly been in banking and finance, with 18 years’ experience both in New Zealand and Australia.
Lauren is passionate about the MTF Finance brand and future. She is confident that a strong and diverse board will encourage MTF Finance to realise its potential through innovation, collaboration, and new partnerships.
Hamish Jacob – Term 3 - 1 September 2023 – 31 December 2023
Hamish is the owner of MTF Finance Thorndon in Wellington.
Hamish holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Otago with his previous professional career in the motor industry., He was with The Colonial Motor Company Ltd in the capacity of Chief Executive/Dealer Principal running dealerships in Wellington and beyond, representing brands such as Ford, Mazda, BMW and Mini.
Hamish has been involved with the Motor Trade Association on their franchise committee.
Board Chair Mark Darrow commented, “As a member of the IoD organisation, it is important we develop new directors from within the shareholder base and have been delighted with the number of people putting their hand up to develop their governance skills and to have a deeper involvement with MTF Finance."
